Aihytech Megawatt Sequence PEM Electrolyzer Successfully Passed the Acceptance and Delivered to Xinjiang

On May 7, 2024, Aihytech’s 100 Nm³ PEM electrolyzer was integrated and debugged by Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd., a leading hydrogen energy equipment provider in China, and sent to the Xinjiang hydrogen production and refueling site. The electrolyzer has completed the acceptance test of the whole set of equipment at Zhangjiagang Guofu Hydrogen Energy Plant on April 27. This set of hydrogen production equipment will be used for hydrogen production and hydrogen refueling station. The rear end is equipped with 200kg/12h skid-mounted hydrogen refueling equipment, which is expected to arrive at the project site in Urumqi, Xinjiang in 5 days, has the operating conditions after 15 days, and will provide hydrogen refueling services for 10 local fuel cell logistics vehicles, which carry the logistics business of Jingdong, Longshengda, and other companies in Xinjiang.

The 100 Nm³ electrolyzer delivered this time belongs to the megawatt specification product of Aihytech, with a hydrogen production rate covering 50-300 Nm³/h, using the first set of major technical equipment "low iridium and high current density PEM electrolyzer" recognized by the National Energy Administration in 2023, and the self-developed high-performance catalyst and membrane electrode materials. The performance indicators have reached the international advanced level.

Since 2024, Aihytech has received a total of more than 20 MW of various orders for electrolyzers, and the orders have been scheduled until November. At present, the team has completed the design of a larger-scale electrolyzer with a single-cell rated hydrogen production of 500 Nm³/h and is expected to complete mass production and release within this year.
