On February 3, the signing ceremony of cooperation between Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Technology and Equipment Co., Ltd. and Amoy Island Hydrogen (Xiamen) Technology Co., Ltd. was held in Xiamen. Wu Pinfang, chairman of Guofu hydrogen energy, and Tao Hubing, chairman of Amoy Island hydrogen, jointly signed the agreement.

Amoy Island Hydrogen (Xiamen) Technology Co., Ltd. was established in April 2022 in Xiamen, Fujian Province, and was founded by the proton exchange membrane (PEM) water electrolysis hydrogen production team of Tan Kah Kee Innovation Laboratory. Relying on the top electrochemical R&D resources and excellent platform advantages of Xiamen University and Tan Kah Kee Innovation Laboratory, it focuses on the R&D, design, production and sales of key core membrane electrodes and catalyst materials, electrochemical testing instruments and high-performance PEM hydrogen production equipment technology, and has more than 30 core technology patents. The four-channel PEM electrolyzer test station and its test method independently developed by the team are the first to pass CNAS certification in China and are widely used in university experimental teaching and electrochemical testing services. In July 2023, the high-performance industrial PEM electrolyzer was selected as the first set of major technical equipment in the national energy field. The founder of the company, Dr. Tao Huaming, focuses on electrochemical reaction engineering and has more than ten years of technical accumulation. He has formed a strong R&D technical team and participated in the formulation of several national and group industry standards for PEM water electrolysis.

At the meeting, Wu Pinfang, chairman of Guofu Hydrogen Energy, Tao Hubing, chairman of Aihytech, and Wen Yangdong, chairman of Yangyuan Investment, discussed in detail the specific model, potential opportunities and implementation details on the in-depth cooperation between the two sides in the field of PEM water electrolysis hydrogen production. According to the agreement, this cooperation aims to integrate the advantages of both parties in technology and industrial resources, share market opportunities and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. Guofu hydrogen energy will take advantage of the industrialization capability of hydrogen production equipment and the advantages of systems and control assemblies to provide better solutions and jointly promote the market application and development of PEM water electrolysis hydrogen production technology with Aihytech.

This cooperation will not only accelerate the industrialization process of PEM water electrolysis hydrogen production technology, but also bring broader development opportunities and market share to both parties. Guofu Group and Aihytech will work together to draw a new chapter of zero carbon green hydrogen.
