The AihyTech multi-megawatt PEM electrolyzer series has passed acceptance and is being shipped to Xinjiang.

On May 7, 2024, the 100 Nm³ PEM electrolyzer by Aihytech was integrated and commissioned by Guofu Hydrogen, a leading domestic hydrogen equipment provider, and shipped to hydrogen production and refueling stations in Xinjiang. The electrolyzer had completed the full-scale equipment acceptance testing on April 27, 2024, at Guofu Hydrogen's factory in Zhangjiagang. This hydrogen production system will be deployed at an integrated hydrogen production and refueling station, with a skid-mounted refueling unit capable of 200 kg per 12 hours. It is expected to arrive in Urumqi, Xinjiang, within 5 days and become operational within 15 days. The system will provide hydrogen refueling services for 10 fuel cell logistics vehicles, supporting the logistics operations of companies such as JD Logistics and Longshengda in Xinjiang.

The 100 Nm³ electrolyzer delivered this time belongs to AihyTech's megawatt-scale product series. Its single-cell hydrogen production rate ranges from 50–300 Nm³/h, featuring the "Low-Iridium High-Current-Density PEM Electrolyzer" —a first-of-a-kind major technological equipment recognized by the National Energy Administration in 2023. It employs self-developed high-performance catalysts and membrane electrode materials, with all performance indicators reaching international advanced levels.

With the gradual clarification of hydrogen energy industry technical routes, AihyTech's Low-Iridium High-Current-Density PEM Electrolyzer has gained market favor. Since 2024, AihyTech has cumulatively secured electrolyzer orders exceeding 20 MW, with production schedules extending to November. The team has already completed the design work for a larger-scale electrolyzer, featuring a rated hydrogen production capacity of 500 Nm³/h. It is expected to achieve mass production and release by the end of this year.
