The Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the list of 29 major technological equipment in Fujian Province, including the 100-kilowatt-level high-current density PEM electrolyzer based on a low-iridium anode. AihyTech's independently developed low-iridium anode 100-kilowatt-level high-current density PEM electrolyzer was successfully selected and recognized as the first-of-its-kind major technological equipment in China (only four items), signifying that the product has achieved domestically leading levels in technological innovation and performance indicators, and has received authoritative recognition.

The low-iridium high-current-density PEM hydrogen production electrolyzer is based on high-activity catalysts for harsh operating conditions and high-efficiency mass-transfer catalytic layers. By achieving the lowest iridium loading in the industry (0.4 mg/cm², compared to the industry average of ~1.2 mg/cm²), it has realized leading electrochemical performance of 2.5 A/cm² at 1.8 V (industry average ~1.5 A/cm²). Notably, AihyTech's next-generation technology has already achieved a current density of 3 A/cm², demonstrating significant advancements in performance. This innovation ensures high performance while optimizing costs and improving efficiency.

Currently, AihyTech's low-iridium high-current-density megawatt-level PEM hydrogen production electrolyzers have been successfully deployed in the market, gaining a significant competitive advantage in the domestic PEM water electrolysis industry. According to publicly available data, AihyTech ranked first in the number of bids won in the 2024 open bidding process for PEM hydrogen production electrolyzers in China.
